I have an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling from CPPD which is a BACP accredited course. I have also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at Mind and independently. I am a member of the BACP and therefore bound by their professional standards and ethics. I am an integrative practitioner which means I draw from many approaches to therapy depending on the issues and/or client suitability. My experience as a therapist is varied, having worked with The Place To Be, Haringey Council (both with young people), Brent Alcohol Counselling Service and Mind (both mainly adult work). I currently divide my time between private practice and Haringey Council, and enjoy working with a diverse range of clients.I like to look at the therapeutic work as being something that is co-created. My belief is that we all have the ability to create the lives we wish to lead. This may of course sometimes be difficult, but I feel that it is in approaching life in a creative way that possibilities can be explored and I endeavour to provide the space to do that.
